What if I am allergic?

There have been very few reactions. However, they do happen. If you are typically very sensitive to products including laundry detergents, makeup or other types of materials we suggest that you ask for a patch test and we will apply a couple of lash extensions on one eye to see if there is a reaction. Keep in mind the glue does not touch your skin during the lashing process, only your lashes. We will wait to see if there is a reaction within 24 to 48 hours. If you feel comfortable and there is no reaction we can go ahead and proceed with your full lash set.

How often do I need infills?

With Classic, every 2 weeks, sometimes 3 if proper care is taken. Most mink or mink volume sets are every 3 weeks.

How do I clean my lashes?

We will provide you with a mascara wand/spoolie to brush your lashes and keep them tangle free. We also have for purchase a Lash Shampoo made with Chrissanthie. It is a gentle, water-based formula, Contains tea tree extract for antibacterial properties, Anti- inflammatory and hypo-allergenic. Helps prevent bacterial infections like blepharitis. What is Microblading?

Microblading, also known by a variety of names such as eyebrow embroidery, microstroking, feather touch and hair like strokes is a form of semi permanent makeup that provides a means to partially or fully camouflage missing eyebrow hair with the appearance of simulated hair using fine deposits of cosmetic tattoo pigments.

Does Microblading hurt?

Everyone has different pain tolerances. We operate with a 2 step numbing. The first numbing agent is placed on your eyebrow and we allow 25min for the topical anesthetic to kick in. Once the microblading strokes have been made, we will go in with our 2nd level numbing that gets applied directly to the scratched skin to penetrate deeper. This when most relief is felt.

How long does it last?

The length of time your microblading will last depends mostly on your skin type (ie. Oily, dry, combination skin) if your skin is oily, the oils tend to break the pigment particals faster and lift; usually needing a touch up from 6months and over. For dry skin, retention will last for about 12-16 months. Combination skin can vary from 6months to l2months. Also it greatly varies depending on how much sun exposure you have, creams being used on the skin, facial treatments performed and care during healing period will play a huge role as to how long your microblading will last.

How long does it take to heal?

Anywhere from 7-10 days. We do a dry healing brow which means no creams, lotions, make-up or oils are placed on your brow after treatment until fully healed and scabs have completely come off on their own. DO NOT pick your scabs as this can cause scars and lift the pigment from your skin. Huge No-NO!

How often do I need to schedule a touch-up for my microblading?

Your first touch up (included with your 1 st microblading session) should be scheduled after 6 weeks from your first appointment. Skin takes 28 days to rejuvenate and brows will not only fade but shrink 1mm. Touch up will fix this and we can make any perfecting strokes in the “perfecting session”. After the 6weeks of healing 1, depending on your skin type; can schedule your appointment from 6-16months.

Should I wax, thread, pluck, or shave my eyebrows before my procedure?

We recommend any clean up around your brows to be done 3-4 days prior to your appointment to avoid any extra sensitivity on your skin. We can also clean up your brow with our disposable brow blades.

Can I get BOTOX or fillers in my face with microblading?

Yes, but make sure to do all of your Botox or fillers at least 2 weeks after your appointment or however long it takes you to heal. If you have already done Botox or fillers make sure that it has been at least 2 weeks since your treatment.

Can I get microblading done while pregnant or breastfeeding?

We would recommend to get cleared through your doctor to make sure that there would be no complications. We would required a note authorizing the procedure from your doctor.

Does microblading fade completely?

Microblading is labeled as semi permanent due to the fact that it will fade over time since it is not deep within the layers of your skin. If you do not keep up with your touch up appointments they will fade, also daily activities and care of your brows will determine how fast they wilt fade.
